The QHSE Manager oversees the organization’s total quality management strategies and safety programs. Key responsibilities include:
Establishing quality and safety metrics for product and service excellence.
Leading the development and implementation of policies and programs that ensure product compliance with external and internal standards.
Directs the organization’s safety programs to protect employees and maintain safe working conditions. Facilitates monthly safety committee meetings and develops weekly toolbox talks and monthly safety training per OSHA and the company’s yearly training structure.
Conducting rigorous safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and develop risk mitigation strategies.
Facilitating training sessions for employees on quality improvement and safety practices.
Monitoring ongoing performance and quality control systems to ensure products meet customer expectations and regulatory standards.
Preparing detailed reports on quality and safety issues, investigations, and other significant outcomes based on the data collected.
Review current policies and make recommendations for improvements.
Test and examine samples of new products and monitor phases of production to ensure overall quality.
Documenting internal audits and other quality assurance activities.
Analyzing data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system.
Developing, recommending, and monitoring corrective and preventive actions.
Ensuring ongoing compliance with national legislation.
Manage and maintain the ISO documentation and certification processes.
